Can anyone tell me which is the best pay as you go sim Asda or Tesco
New here and getting confused with how this forum works0 -
Asda's SIMs have Green writing, and Tesco's have Blue writing.
Only kidding. What did you want to know?
Asda charge 8ppm calls, 4p per text - in this respect, is cheaper than Tesco, but Tesco triple your credit when you top up - making a call about 7ppm, and a text about 3p - in this respect, Tesco is 'better'.
Asda is a virtual network, using the Vodafone physical network, whereas Tesco use o2's physical network - check the signal strength and see which is better for you (Vodafone or o2)The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Tesco also do a "Lite" 4p Text and 8p/min call rate (same as Asda) but the "triple your credit" does not work on that tariff.
The quick rule of thumb is if you spend less than £10 a month, the Asda or Tesco Lite would probably work best for you, if you spend more than that £10 a month, then the Tesco "triple your credit" tariff is probably best.
If you want a better answer you need to give a more detailed estimate of your monthly usage.0 -

I've used both and found them both fine they both have excellent customer service that's been my experience currently using tesco's as they have a better selection of phones but you should check which gives you the better signal strength0

Hi well done on posting on this board it is vvvvv quiet on here. I am afraid i am a newbie too so i don't know the answer. I think you should get a good answer if you post it in the thread for mobiles a bit higher up.
good luck.

I have had the two. With Tesco pay say £10 and they give you £20, the extra £10 as to be used in a month and your remaining £10 lasts as long as you want. However they want their pound of flesh and they find ways to make you use your remaining £10. Providing your phone is switched on, if someone phones and you don't answer, they charge you, and other little things. you are allowed 5 phone numbers that they charge 10p per minute, the rest at 20p per minute.
My phone that I bought from Asda is unlocked, so what I do is, if I have a lot of phoning to do one month I am with Tesco, and if just an ordinary month I am with Asda only 8p per minute to everyone.0
