advice needed please as im going out my brain
a month ago i had my baby premature, the day we got home from hospital, my bedroom radiator packed up. 2 days later my baby got rushed back into hospital with a really bad cold.
i got onto the heating company that does all the work for my housing company and they arranged to come next day....they were a no show even tho i explained how urgent i needed them fixed.
baby come home a few days later and still the company were mucking me about so my health visitor rang and explained how serious things were what with having a premature, newborn, baby who had already been admitted to hospital...they again said theyd come next day.....no show!!!
couldnt get through on phone to them , that very night my baby took a turn for the worse with his cold again.
rang them on the monday, a man come out tues and said my pipes need flushing and the company would be in contact when they could do it.....6 days goes by and no call or letter, so i ring again.
they sent a man out next day who put some ''desludger' into the pipes and said it had to come out 5-7 days or it would break the radiators from the inside.....i rang the a few days later as i hadnt heard anything and the man that come out had messaged back to the company saying job was complete!!!!!! so no-one knew they had to sort the radiators out still!!!
they said they would come out this tues (2mo) to flush the pipes, but on saturday ALL of my radiaitors stopping working and the boiler is making a weird noise....i rang themand they said they cant do anything to help me apart from lend me 2 silly little heaters (to heat alarge house with 5 childrenunder 10, one who is vulnerable and STILL has a cold!!)
anyway.........the heaters were a no show, so we have gone without heating for the last few days, i managed to get ahold of the company this morn...the woman informed me they havnt even got any heaters so doesnt know why anyone said it,and i couldnt make acomplaint because no records of my call saying radiators were broken was even recorded!!! she said i wouldnt be entitled anyway as they only lend them on '''extreme'''' circumstances!!!!!!!!
i feel like theyare playing god with my babys health, he is still really poorly and we desperatly need the heating...they could have sorted this weeks ago but seem totally incompetant.
i want to log a complaint cos this is not on but am not sure complaining to the company will even be noticed asi have already spoken to a manager who promised me 2 weeks ago it would be sorted...and he let me down
is there ANYONE i can complain to?? surely they cannot get away with this??

Sounds like their customer service isn't upto much. It sounds like you need to complain to the housing company.....if they're paying these guys they'd probably want to know what they're getting upto.
Could you not get another company in to fix it and send the bill to the others? Surely the priority is to get it fixed so i'd stop wasting your time and just get it worted and then fight to get your money back once your baby is well.0
