We have been twice...first time was free when they hosted the VIP launch party and second time with some early bird tickets I had already purchased.
I agree with the comments and must say that on the second visit noticed that a lot of the minifigs had "disappeared" which was quite sad. There was even a cow sat on the top of one of the buildings which I couldn't help but chuckle about! :rotfl:If you have Lego mad kids like I do, then they will love it.
If you're fairly local would advise you get the Afternoon Tickets for £7 which allows admission after 4pm. Last admission is 5pm and they close at 7pm but you should have enough time to do everything.

We have just got back - best word to describe it is 'Naf'.
Nothing to go back for. To say it has been open nearly a month, there are still no signs saying what the building in MiniLand are! We are from Sheffield, but still no idea what some of the buildings/churches/train stations are.
The coolest thing about the whole place was a version of Oblivion in MiniLand.
My Son's are 10 and 7 - they enjoyed it, but not bothered about going back, and they love Lego and Legoland Windsor.
To say it is a 'Discovery Centre' - there is no actual 'discovery' to be made - no history of the company, or any interactive stuff about actual Lego.
We got in with Merlin Annual Passes - if we have paid we would have been asking for a refund, it was that naf!
We went with Grandparents, who thought the same - if fact my Dad said it was a waste of petrol to get there!0 -
Totally agree with everything that has previously been said. We went last Thursday and personally I was bored stiff. The kids (and even the BIG one) enjoyed themselves though and have said that they would like to go back. We have a Merlin Pass so will probably do so with me going shopping and them going playing. Kids are boy and girl aged 8 and 6. Place was very hot so take plenty of drinks. One mum had spent £60 on getting in an was very disappointed...said that she had been to both Gullivers and Camelot that week and both had been cheaper and had lasted longer. Reminded me of the kids play/cafe area (with lots of lego and one small okish ride) at Ikea....all on one floor and lots of Ikea like lights....infact go to Ikea, put the kids in the play area for free and buy them a box of lego instead with the money saved!!!0
