PS frankie, just done some more maths, if you reinstated the sweetcorn fritters with wedges instead of 3 lots of risi e bisi, then for a family size of 6 you'd save £4.32 per 31 day month, which means your toast toppers would only take you £8 up ish which is amazing!

Weezl or allegra or someone else equally clever. What is all the chicken for?
Did the family of four have one chicken? If so that means I will have extra, Im just wondering because I seem to have a surplus and wondering if/when mr artybear asks for a chicken sandwich is he allowed? Or I can add it in the pasta-just dont want it to go to waste really.

The Bacon & Onion Pudding was a success here. I served it with added carrots and gravy.
We generally like 2 lots of veg and it seems to work well.
Everyone was full.
The only thing I didn't manage to make today were the biscuits so I think I did very well.
weezl Great news about the costings. I'll be interested to see how it works out for next month when I'll also be using some of the food I have in the cupboards and freezer at the moment that we aren't eating cause we're on the plan.
What is happening with the lemons? I also seem to have oranges spare?0 -

yes, your chicken would do double the meals arty, so it's completely up to you, either add it to stuff, or if you'd like to test the recipes as they are, maybe make extra pies and keep them for month 2, if mr arty has enough freezer space

ok oranges: family of 4 have 6 oranges, 4 zested and juiced for carrot cake, other 2 plus those carcasses is for the orange flim flam
lemons is for lemon cordial, although no-one seemed to want the recipe for that:rotfl: or a lemon flim flam for snacks or juiced to add zing to the hummus and zested to make the boodle biscuits nicer
whaddya fancy?:D
