where to exchange my money ?

when and where to exchange for an holiday ?

I'm going on holiday to country B. when and where do I exchange money ?I normally take some british pound with me ( 200quid this time)
and exchange in destination country ... is this is the cheapest way of doing it?
what if I use the cashpoint in foregin country to withdraw some cash from my current account would that be cheapest? would where does this fit in?

this is how my bank seem to charge for money withdrawal:
Debit cards
ATM Charges: 2.25% of the transaction value (capped at £4) plus 2.65% exchange rate transaction fee
Cost per £100 withdrawal: £4.90

thats 4.90 for every 100quid ( assuming 9.80 for 200quid )

thanks guys!
this is one thing i never undrestood in my life...

Cheapest way is to Order it online! You'll get ripped off buying it at your destination or buying at Airports.

Remember its not only Cost for swopping currency-IE 2.5% or £5, but also the exchange rate you are being given!

Make sure you do your homework! Im sure purchasing online would be cheaper and you'll get the money delivered by signed delivery for free.
