What a great message to read - coming straight out of uni - and already starting to really get into MoneySaving
I love it

I wouldn't pay off your student loan early if I were you; you're unlikely to get such a cheap form of finance anywhere else. Better to put the money in a Cash ISA - you'll earn more than the interest rate on the student loan..0

Hi John,
It is at a very low rate but because of the ammount I owe (£15k) interest will be at £25 per month!
I am thinking about covering that and a little more (maybe £40/month) because I hear it makes you seem more responsible to banks and lenders when I need a mortgage.0 -
I forgot to mention this above.
I was in desperate need of a few new clothes and was advised about going to Matalan. The clothes seem good quality and the prices were excellent - can thoroughly recomened! :beer:0 -
I have not been on the site for ages!
I relocated to Somerset to begin my new job at the start of September and have just sorted out my internet connection.
Well I have not stopped the money saving since I have been away and during the last two months have completely payed my CC's and moved to Natwest where the interest free overdraft is really a benefit.
I will keep you up to date.
Thanks for reading,

Thanks everyone.
Just received in the mail a new credit card! Mint must have realised that I have paid off my balance and have not used my card for ages!
Although I think this is pretty desperate and laughable - I am tempted to complain because I did not ask for a new card.0 -
An interesting development...
I have had a letter from the Inland Revenue stating that they believe that I have paid too much tax for the 2004-2005 financial year and are checking their records to see if I am entitled to getting some monies back! I will let you know... :beer:0 -
