Have no idea wish I knew.
EA said the recording of the noise wasn't enough to start doing anything. They said keep a record but never say for how long.
Now that we have done something that he knows about and hes acting in a threatening way, just makes life worse. I can see why people just put up with it in silence cause it takes so long to get the officials to do anythingSurvey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -
The landlord may/may not care. He rents the property out and receives rent in return. Provided the tenant pays the rent the LL may be happy.
However most tenancy contracts have clauses about not disturbing neighbours, causing disturbance or behaving in an un-tenantlike/un-neighbourly fashion.
It's up to the LL whether he chooses to enforce (difficult in any case).
However, if the LL values relations with neighbours he may choose not to renew the contract when the fixed term ends or to evisct if it's a periodic tenancy.
For a LL to get a court to evict a tenant on the basis of breaches of clauses above is very hard, even if it can be proved.
Trace the LL and sound him out, but don't expect miracles.0
