    yep i agree on plasterboard, but on sound/solid walls no problem.
    A thankyou is payment enough .

    Plastered walls only take 20kg per sqm , Bare plasterboard will take 32kg

    Cement render will take 60kg but most commercial properties i have ever worked on have been plaster

  • So if there are two layers of tiles on a plastered wall my rather heavy thick marble ones being the top layer do they stand a chance of staying on the wall? Is there any way of checking longevity likelihood?

    No

    I would advise removal, Replace substrate, Tank and re-tile
