Just realised I never reported back from my HHC with natty :rotfl: I have NOT been in the shower all day
As soon as I was clean we chose and printed pics for the coasters for Grandad's birthday. Then wrapped that and other pressies for him and nephew's birthdays and went to deliver them.
From there we went to Mr M's for a couple of bits and then on up to my mates. Had a good natter with them and then home for pizza and a DVD which SW's 3 and 5 are watching now.
I have just caught up with the thread but flyingwise I have had the WM on twice and TD once so all is not lostOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Evening all,
Been thinking of Diva and hope she is ok, please pass on get well wishes when you speak to her Lady-L, lots of hugs to you too.Not sure if i can ask ( so just delete my post if there is a problem-after i have got my stars , mind you!) but does stuff last from the shop where you buy everything 'flat packed'?. DS1 needs a new bed etc.
You kind of get what you pay for but even the really cheap stuff has lasted much longer (10 years for a £35 chest of drawers) than cheap flat pack from many other places, and I should know for I have tried themDD has lovely bed with very comfy matress at moment. Good job they deliver now because DH promised never to go again after a bad experience 7 years ago and so far he has remained true to his word (he also promised never to go to Meadowhell again 14 years ago) and he has been making mutterings about supermarkets, eek .

I can't sign passport applications, as I'm not a British citizen, but would not dream of charging people if I could (unless everybody started coming to me with them all of a sudden) . None of my friends and colleagues do, either. A small present would be nice, but I wouldn't expect anything from friends.
Thanks for that. I started to think that if it wasn't ok, I could hang around until she'd drunk the whole box of wine and then put a pen in her hand and get her to sign it anyway. And to you too Greenbee. Also, do you want us to talk you out of going out, or into it? If you need to be sociable, then you should make the effort or if you suspect it wouldn't be worth it, stay home and save your charm for another occasion.;)
Flying-wise, everywhere is tidy and all dailies done but precious little else. Embarrassed the DSs by crying at Nanny McPhee in the cinema, fortunately DD was crying too so didn't look a complete muppet by self.Proud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474
