Evening ladies

Back to the day job today but happy to say DH took delivery of the new suite before 830 meaning that he could get in bed at a reasonable hour after his night shift.

I finished work and went to the dentist plus had a quick scout round for clothes for dear brothers step daughters wedding on Saturday.

Have since managed to cook tea and clear away. Need a sit down for a bit as ate too much and cant watch TV as I'm not capable of putting the cables back together to make everything work! DH obviously didnt have time to put blinds back up or sort TV today but I bet he had time for farmville :mad:

Today I'm going to wash up and tidy all floors and surfaces. Have got to have the place tip top by Friday as have one of the ladies coming round who helped us with our mega sort out and she won't want to see a mess. It's not too bad in here but I've not managed to do much in the last week or so.

I had a fabulous weekend with them and didnt want them to go. the children are so well behaved and well mannered it was a joy to have them - they were so patient letting me do some of my things and at the Church. It made my weekend to have them here - i amstill grinning after yesterday - we finally got to bed about midnight!!! we have had pizza, fish and chips, KFC, Alice's lasagne, had a picnic yesterday, bacon rolls, fed the ducks, IKEA!!!!!!!, just so much fun and 'Mum' and I have already thought of places to go next time!!! there just wasnt enough time or room in my flat!! they were lovely and all slept on the floor in the sitting room!

And I managed to declutter 1 or 2 bits to their house to make room for what i bought at Ikea!!!!!:rotfl:

I will start to catch up tonight after tea - in the meantime....

Dusty I cant believe you have yet another broken bone - is that all 3 of them now - I hope DS is recovering a bit now - I will catch up on the news as i go along.

Lady L bless you angel for talking to Sandy - please give her my love and I hope the chemo is not so horroble - please tell her to ASK for pain relief and antinausea and not to be brave - she musnt let herself suffer in silence. I have lit a candle for her.xxxx
And in your angel mode again - how lovely you are - could you please pass on my love and best wishes to Diva - I am thinking of her and hope the op goes really well and she will be home and in touch with us again soon - healing vibes are winging their way and I have lit a candle for her too xxxx

Hope everyone is ok, hugs to those that need them and sorry that I missed all of last week but spent the entire week in hospital flat on my back for most of the week. Anyway will be off work for 3 weeks until next Neuro appointment when test results will be back so I will join in and between my DD and I will try and do as much as we can.

I have to say that the house is even worse mess than before so it will take a conserted effort. I really need to do some serious ebaying as I need to make an extra mortgage payment.

Right now I can't do anything tonight as I have a raging headache and pain in back/hip and ankle.... so time for feet up and a bit of telly time. will start in the morning.

Emotionally drained and Soappie's post this evening has wiped me out.

I really appreciate all the vibes you have sent to me over the past 24 hours for my DS. He has cried for an hour this evening before I could finally get him to sleep in our bed, another night for DH in a single. My lovely DH brought him an ipod touch on the way home tonight. He has wanted one for months and as he can do so little and has been such a star we have treated him. He just kept saying thank you and hugging his Dad. Hopefully that will keep him busy for a little time this evening.

Evening, just been watching a really sad program on BBC2 about the cardiac team at Great Ormond street hospital:( Bits of it hitting a little too close to home.
Now watching Have I Got News For You to cheer myself up.

Hope DS is doing ok Dusty, what a nice present you got him, hope it makes him feel better.

I knew of something like this Soappie, although didn't know it had a name. There was a certain "friend" of mine who did this to a group of us in a stitchy board. Even now after being found out she is still doing it..some people you can't help.

PenPen - it was DS1 and DS2 who broke their arms skiing. DS3 has never broken anything before and hopefully won't repeat the exercise.

Toots - I hope you don't think for one moment that we think you are a muncher. You are just a wonderful person with a heart of gold.
