Good evening all, we have had a lovely relaxing weekend. I have done NOTHING flying wise(except the bare minimum). Today has been back to reality and getting the entire house back into some kind of order.
Soooo... what have a got done today
S&S kitchen
S&S bathroom
Tidy round and dust living room
Made kids shift all their junk and carp back into their rooms
Tidied up the mountain of shoes in the passage
Fed the kids
Swept through downstairs

Put away all kids clean washing
Tidied a path to the beds in kids rooms
Made easter handpuppets with the kids.
And now I have to think of something to make us for tea, cos I am starving
Sending hugs to all, and continued vibes for Sandy.

and I thought I was bad for books :rotfl:Five bookcases in the Snug, three in the playroom. All double stacked, plenty more upstairs
. The wood burning stove generates a lot of dust so cleaning the bookshelves is an epic job. We have about 220 feet of shelving covering 2 whole walls, floor to ceiling - 1 in LR, 1 in DR
I also agree on the coffee. We have a Dolce Gusto machine and at 20p a cup it isn't cheap but there is no way I would change back to instant. We don't do instant either, even when we go visiting my mum we take coffee with usWe also have coffee creamer with our coffee - the stuff you get in cafes, we bulk buy ours from Mak*o every few weeks
We get our coffee online 2kg at a time (it doesn't last as long as you might think
) & it is much more expensive than even the best stuff in the supermarket, but, oh, soooo worth it :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm still sticking to my grinder and cafetiere, but I do get tempted from time to time.
Then I look at the prices and decide I can't justify it. We tried to reduce our, ahem, coffee habit, cough, but you just can't get a 12-step programme for it, ahempollyskettle wrote: »I bought DH a grinder and a new percolator for christmas, and a stove top espresso maker and we've got a cafetiere. We rather like coffee too :rotfl:. I'm currently being tempted by a beautiful red tassimo machine on Amazon. It's calling my name, but I really can't justify any more coffee makersIt is addictive, isn't it? Mind you, we've found that, after much intensive research, we like it ready ground and a normal filter machine
My name is Notso, and I 'm a coffeeholic!
Just decluttering another cup now, then that's it done until 6.30 tomorrow morning when the coffee pot will switch itself on, ready for our first cup in bed....aaahhhh, coffee...... luckily i have no other vices, ahem,......scuttles off stage left, quickly
