I'm in again this week - thanks to Toots, Pigpen and Soappie. Hope Soappie feels better soon - and thinking of Sandy.
DH and I are finishing clearing up the conservatory today, and it's looking so much better. We're potting on the plants now, and changing things around, having cleaned and polished this morning.... Meanwhile, however:

I came very close to putting a brick through our TV, but DH finally got going and has taken two loads to the dump-it site. He started on the yard and almost risked his life with a very unwise comment ('Why did YOU let it get into this state'), but we're ok now.
DW and WM almost finished, oven door glass and shelves/shelf supports soaking in bio-powder in the bath and lots of pans washed. I've also scrubbed two cupboard doors and a drawer front, and wiped most worktops. Lots more left, though, so we're just having a late lunch and then we need to go out for a few bits and pieces, but then I'm back to cleaning and DH has some planting to do. His sudden interest in gardening is unexpected and unexplained, but welcome.
See you all later.0 -
Just had a lovely bath and friends coming for a drink later. Off to catch up now, then wm on again (it had a ten minute rest!)Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I have the internet again!!
Haven't read the thread as it will probably take me days, but will try to catch up soon as I can.
Have to go into hospital tomorrow for an op. Please send positive vibes for me in the morning please as I am rather nervous. Thank you.
Bigand love to everyone who had a birthday while I was gone and supportive hugs to anyone who needs one.
I hope Sandy and everyone who needs positive thoughts is doing OK and that everyone had a good Easter. Lovely and sunny here again today.Diva.x
To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -

Hi,
Greenbee / LadyL can you send my love to Sandy please and tell her i'm thinking of her.
We managed to get out in the garden and it didn't rain.:j Ds2 now has sand in his tray and the rabbits have a fixed run. I put 1 rabbit in the run when i had only fixed 1/2 of it i thought if i was there they wouldn't be able to escape. Then i realised that i couldn't get the other one because i couldn't leave the 1st rabbit and i wouldn't be able to open the run whilst holding a rabbit. I had to send Ds2 in to tell Ds1 he had to come in the garden right now.:rotfl:. Catching them again to put them back in their hutch was even more fun.
Ds2 is happy now he's been outside so i can finish that glossing once i've drunk yet another coffee. Oh said he will take Ds2 out for a bit later so i can get on in peace.

Need help making a decision please....
I want to buy a steam cleaner. I had one in SA and it was fabulous-although I never used it as I had a "maid", she used it everyday and loved it. I can get one on ebay for about £20 (incl postage) but I cant decide if its an "I want" that wont be used, or if its an I want that will be used and make my life easier.
My mum always said "if in doubt-dont", but Ive been thinking about it for a while.
Off to put away the washing and empty DW. DH is making chicken soup using the left over rubber from yesterday and I just put a loaf of bread in.0
