    Hi guys

We are back from our holiday which was OK, very glad to be home. We were caught in the Seafrance strikes on the way out but lickily managed to get a ferry with another company and are waiting for our refund for the outward journey.

The next couple of weeks I am going to be concentrating on my dissertation which I am severely behing with and am looking forward to flying again when it is done. I have lots of plans for decluttering etc and OH seems to be on board with most of it so it should be quite successful.

  • Morning all. Tis a glorious day here, the grockles must be well pleased. Normally it pours with rain in the school holidays!

Market this morning and then curtains up and tackle the clothes mountain. I have clothes in three sizes, and I can't wear them all at once, so I thought I would put some in the attic.

put last night's dry washing away
    eyebrow appt 11.45am
    futon goes this aft
tidy spare room - pack away moses basket
dusting (dh said he will hoover tomorrow)
    buy blackout linings
    shredding
    finish preparing service

Car hoovered and windows and dashboard cleaned.

Also decluttered the glovebox and found my L plates, so have given them to a neighbour as he has 2 sons learning to drive at the moment.

OH is busy hoovering the living room, and has moved the sofas too. The house is boiling at the moment though as the woodburner is on, because we need to heat more hot water. Will instruct OH to open all the windows soon.

Off to do the bathroom now and then change the sheets in the bedroom.

You're very brave to be contracting... I've never been able to convince myself that the increase in income is worth the reduction in security :o but then maybe that's because I'm single... lots of vibes heading your way...
I was chatting to guy sitting next to me at work yesterday who is a contractor, he loves it and said he'd never go back to permanent now.

Still catching up with thread but reading more good news is a great thing first thing. Natty I am so pleased for you that it is just a cyst, I can't imagine the relief you must be feeling.

hex what a pity about DS being sick, hope you managed to get the car cleaned out. Miss A has been sick on occasion, she is very good at telling me before it happens, if she is feeling ill we put her in the front of the car (no NOT tied to the bonnet :p) which helps a lot. She (like I did when I was little) will sit with the window open and cool air blowing on her face. I always have some nappy sacks in the car JIC.

Do you want to rearrange something for next week closer to you?

toots you have been very busy, hope you had a good nights sleep

CY we'd be up for York almost any day expect Friday (my Dad's birthday)

Mumoffour77 what wonderful news :D Congratulations to you all, he looks beautiful, a very good reason for dropping off the face of the earth!

Almost up to date with you all, still back on page 62 but need to get organised for swimming lessons.
