    Im not sure if the can do this actually, surely a refund should be exactly that, a refund in the original payment form. Would need clarifying though.

    They will issue a voucher read the first post , its how Currys usually pay out

    "in the form of a payment voucher"

    Regards the TV offer...

    I know that you didn't get insurance with the TV but it sounds like they're using the same calculations that they use when your TV is insured with them. This is calculated as a 20% depreciation per year of use on the terms and conditions on the back of the insurance.

    For a £850 Tv this would be:-

    1/2-1 year £680
    1-2 years £544
    2-3 years £435.20
    3-4 years £348.16
    4-5 years £278.52
