  • ... but a sober wedding??

Hi pb! Back in a previous life (say more than a decade ago ) when I was into going clubbing in london all night I went through a stage when I decided I wasn't going to drink anymore, for about 6 months :o, and used to go clubbing till 6am on a couple of glasses of coke! I still had a wicked time, you can do it, and watch everone else slowly descend into....

  • I'm so glad I included that "just in case £10"!!! I forgot that I had a precription to collect from the chemist, 2 items (luckily 1 was cheaper to buy off prescription) so that was £11.45, I bought my son a jumper from ebay £5.20 and put in £3 for a (another) colleagues birthday gift. Total so far £19.65.

    Aiming for NSD today ;)

DMS I don't mind going out but not drinking, but I'll see how I feel. Don't fancy paying £12 for a taxi home!

Good luck with the NSD, I still have to go and post the book and ebay item.

edit - £4.57 left for rest of the week.

Edited again - spent £3.90 in the post office so just 67p left for the rest of the week. I may have to use my grocery budget which is still intact while I'm at home!

    Can i join in please?

I have a budget of £30 per week for the next two weeks ( payday) but i would like to have a little left over at the end of the month even if it is justa few quid. So.....can you put me down for £20 for this week .

    Thanks :)

Well it didn't happen, had a trip to the Vets yesterday which cost me the best part of £40 quid so I failed miserably. But it was for a good cause so i dont mind too much. :)

Apart from that had only spent 88p on 2 pints of milk and £1.50 on a soup and roll for my lunch. Need to get petrol tomorrow but £10 should see me through to the end of the week and that is it unless I need milk. I am not spending another penny :)

  • Oh dear, I've blown the budget already this week: £50.40 so far

Hoping to have NSD tomorrow, and limit the damage some.

Ooof, (big sigh) I think making green on my first week made me a little complacent. Need to try harder next week. :(
