I'm in the UK on orange, my friend (on o2) is on holiday in Holland and has been texting me. Am I being charged for this? We're both payg.

You are not charged for receiving text whilst on your home network.

If you are texting a UK mobile number, you are also able to text your friend back and will only pay the standard PAYG UK texting charge. The text is also free for your friend to receive.

You are also able to call anywhere internationally as long as its a UK mobile number (07) and will only pay the standard call charges, but the person receiving the call will pay a roaming charge.
