    Hi Mupette, good news!

Get yourself a notebook and write each utility on a separate page. List dates when you told them of the move, meter readings, etc.

    You will need to inform:
    Gas
    Electricity
    Water
    Council Tax
DWP - DLA, CA, CTC, etc
    Schools
    Doctor
    Dentist
Any clubs that your children belong to (Cubs, etc)
    Employer (for OH)
    Telephone and broadband company
    Insurance - car and house
    DVLA
    CEA pass
    Catalogue companies
    Credit card companies
    Bank
    Post Office account
    TV licence

I'm sure I've missed out plenty, but others will be able to add more.

You might need to add opticians to the list as well as your hospitals and any clinics you attend. Also Social Services if you have any involvement with them. I would have to inform the Continence Service as my son uses this.

Motability if you have a car through them.

Muppette, you've got me thinking now. I think I'll put a post it note by my bed, so if I think of anything overnight, I can add it in the morning :D

Redirection is pricey, if you can get to the sorting office easily they do a FREE service whereby they hold the post that goes to your old address at the sorting office for you to collect.

Won't be easy to get to sorting office, and have already sorted and paid for redirect for a year

Care Alarm, didn't think of that will add to list and investigate thanks

Add 'all your friends' to your list of people to notify ... :rotfl:

If your son has a bus pass for school, you need to tell them, or next year's pass will be posted to the old address (and redirect isn't foolproof!)

If he doesn't currently currently have a bus pass, and he's staying at his current school, he may now be eligible - 3 miles. Definitely worth asking.
