I had a voicemail message yesterday telling me there were multiple items left in my online basket. Do you think we are tying up their stock if we leave stuff in our online baskets?0

The lady said I still had x amount of items in my basket, said they were very busy at the weekend (really? oooo) and that it was just a quick check to see there were issues with not being able to check out etc as if so she could process my order there and then.
I had Viking Direct call me end of last year for the same thing0 -

hi if they sell the dress instore you could just exchange for the next size or if it not available how about exchanging it for something else in store thats what i have just done,also in the parcel you should of recieved an invoice and for each item it shows how much you actually paid for them after discount so should be able to work out if worth returning or exchanging- for instance a dress i bought online in the clearance £14 down to £9 but with discount it shows i paid £4.47 for that 1 item and i just exchanged in store for a £10 dress and pack of £4 vests.hth.0 -
Makes sense as i have a few items in my basket...i was gonna try to decide what size to order before i checked out.
So any of the codes working? just before i check out another order for some summer things?

So did you not take the original invoice with you when you exchanged? Are they ok with returning items without invoice? Can they not find out how much you paid or do they ask?0 -

I nearly did the same when they called me earlier, good job Boots has so many glitches on their huggies range....
Was so thankful my signal died in case they started asking questions about account codes etc. I would have been speechless.
Will have a look out for new codes and if any work i shall keep everyone posted....0 -

hi i didnt take the invoice i was just going to exchange for next size but they did not have it so i just bought items to the price of the tag as it was in store still at that price not in clearence like online and just said i havent got the receipt is it ok to just exchange she said no problem and pointed out that they either exchange or give a credit note for clothing department if no receipt is available i have only ever been able to exchange without a receipt so not sure if the credit note is new.0
