I had to get rid of all this fast, before my hording essence kicked in. BTW, this is another confirmation of the fact that there is an essence that underpins all our relationships. In de-cluttering, as I was in finance, I can ascilate between 'keep everything' - 'throw it all away'. With finance I learned to be closer to the middle of the continuum; with de-cluttering there is a long way to go, I think.
But, getting a shredder is next on the list:T.

Thanks for this! Totally relate to the oscillation between two extremes too. I wondered about the burning because shredding is the usual way to go, and then the paper can be recycled. Still, you can put the ash on the garden, at least.savingwannabe wrote: »You are all making me laugh. Am now ironing to Roberta Flack singing Killing Me Softly. Yum. It is a jolly tasty frog with the right music.
Tasty frogs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I do love the whole eat the frog thing, its a great mnemonic for "do the important thing that you don't like doing and do it first so its out of the way", which isn't nearly as impressive :cool:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I have eaten 3 big frogs today, one field notes, one research plan, swimming, and one more frog to go. But I left the most horrible frog to the end
naughty!

i am a boring sod ... i dont find eating frogs in the least way bad ... infact i have actively went looking for the frogs first for years ... so that i can get on with the fun things in life ...0

Lara, your main frog is to keep safe; and the research of course. And please do eat the biggest and ugliest first. Here I am with El - the whole grogology thing is based on the fact that once you have eaten the ugliest nothing worse can happen; so you happily get on with your life. There are different forms of optimism I suppose.
I did eat my FROG as well - have written close to 3,000 words of a working paper that appears to be late b ut surprisingly with the help of frogology is not so. The reason I know - next step is to chunck the extremely large, urgly and horrid frogs into smaller ones, arrange them in a clear and logical sequence and put deadlines next to them. Works, trust me.
Who mentined tasty frogs? I was thinking of ways to imporve the taste. Do you think olive oil, vinegar and herbs will help? You are not allowed to cook them though. But there does need to be so much suffering eating them either (true to my Eastern Orthodox background - no suffering, no guilt).
Will be in touch later.
