The explanation was indeed relevant...if the OP had been aware it is highly unlikely she would have asked the question regarding a mortgage now or in 18 months...

Your CCJ will appear on your credit file for 6 years (if it takes you more than 6 years to repay the CCJ, the creditor will re-register it with the credit reference agencies).

Running rings around me...you're having a laugh

ie CCJ's dropping off in 4 yrs....:)

Went to a gorgeous little pub today called the Bell Inn (Winchester), fair enough, its a cricket pub, but they cater for veggies and the venison casserole is to die for.

King Arthur loses his job, gets made redundant.
    Goes to the Job Centre.
Chap there says "King Arthur, it's your lucky day - I've got a week's jousting for you at Camelot."
    "Great," says King Arthur, "freelance?"
"No," replies the Job Centre guy, "you've got to bring your own".

3 men go to a shop to buy a tv that costs £30. They all pay an equal share of £10 each. The tv should have been £25 and the assistant is given £5 to give back to the 3 men. The assistant decides that you cannot share £5 equally between 3 people so keeps £2 for himself to buy lunch and finds the 3 men and gives them the remaining £3. That means the men have paid £9 each for the tv which makes the tv £27 and the shop assistant has £2. £27 + £2 = £29. where did the other £1 go?

It does indeed affect affordability if 2 people on mortgage and 1 income...

the OP wouldnt be on the mortgage, as the OP wouldnt get one.
the OP would just be living there.
why dont you just admit defeat, as you look out your depth in this argument, tbf.

    good luck to the OP.
