don't do anything and the payment will eventually be returned to her. imo i'd ignore her now you have told her whatshe needs to know ie 'the item is not for sale' so i'd leave it at that. good luck!

The best thing you can probably do now is ignore her.

Grr what a nightmare. I started an NPB then told her i'd removed it to get her to eff off, but she just keeps coming back. Does this still apply if the payment doesn't get to me however, as shes paid by paypal and I no longer have an account?

Sellers have to have paypal accounts so the system won't care that you believe you have closed yours, she has paid and it is probably sitting there waiting for you.

I think if she has to wait 30 days for it to bounce back she is going to be rather annoyed.

Yes, sadly i'll just have to ignore her as ebay do not seem to offer the seller any way out when a buyer goes mental. I tried to cancel the transaction on one of the items and was hoorified that they emailed her to ask her if she accepted or rejected. Of course she rejected to be a 'mare. Am surprised ebay do not seem to protect sellers at all and alwaays favour the buyers.

Soolin, appreciate what you're saying but I am the angry one. I'm past caring her being angry if she has to wait a month for her pound back. And ebay have registered that I no longer have a paypal account as there was a reversal on my fees - reason - account closed. I paid them by CC directly instead. Good to know, in fact, that she has to wait thirty days. Thats about the only justice I get out of this.

    .

That's the problem when a seller chooses a mutual and why it is rarely a good idea, it remains up to the buyer to agree.

As much as the buyer was a nightmare the OP hasn't helped herself by a poor understanding of how Paypal and ebay work. Its probably a good thing you havent got a PP account anymore as I fear if you continued selling on ebay there would be more problems that could lose you money

i always have a no collection policy, i am a single woman and i personally dont want anyone having my address, possibly my phone number for arrangements and knowing what i look like (the possiblilities for crime are endless). this woman sounds a complete nutter, the last person you want near your house. heed the advice given, dont do anything in respect of responding to her and although ebay are pretty rubbish when it comes to any situation i do think you need to send them a message to let them know what has happened so that it is recorded. if she leaves negative feedback you just need to respond to it underneath by saying what a nutter she is... the rest of your feedback will speak volumes! i had a bit of a nutter bid on a phone a couple of weeks back, clearly showed postage cost and no pick up option but buyer decided he wanted to collect. i emailed him to say no way, not an option but as soon as payment made it would be posted, sent about 4 more invoices and then suddenly get a message saying i hadnt responded to any of his messages and he left me negative feedback. opened up an unpaid strike which was granted and then removed... he had sent ebay a message with lies in and they removed it! i dont truely believe ebay checks every case properly and UPS are worth nothing really except recouping fees when someone doesnt pay or communicate. the best you can do is to not respond to the nutter (apart from when they leave feedback on your page - you can respond to feedback left) but it does sound like you will have to forget about getting fees repaid, although that has got to be worth it to get rid. you can also block them from bidding on anymore items (see the help pages) something which i had to do as i was threatened by my buyer that he would bid on everything!!! also make sure that any messages you send to anyone go through ebay messages rather than personal email accounts. good luck
