Dont talk to me about Citylink !!! Most unhelpful jobsworth company i have ever dealt with. The yellow card they put through the door is a study in how to be as awkward as possible and i am amazed it ever got to the print stage without someone saying 'hey come on we're here to supply a service' To make matters worse my local driver underlines and puts asterics round the most awkward comments on the card.

The bit that really annoys me is the :

'We will not deliver to another address without written permission of the sender' ok fair enough but it would help if the driver could actually write who the sender actually is instead of taking the time underlining and astericing the awkward bits.

I have an elderly neighbour who takes parcels in for me, she has got keys to my house so offered to take a parcel and even explained that she would walk over while he was there and he could leave the parcel actually in my house, of course this was more than his jobs worth etc but when she argued the point he shouted at her that she had her chance to take the parcel two days earlier ( she has no idea what he was on about) and so she can't have it now ! She phoned me at work almost in tears, i complained to my 'local' depot Cardiff (45 miles away) and the manager would only repeat robot fashion what the terms of delivery were and that the driver was only doing his job.

The last time i managed to get a parcel redirected to work i clearly indicated that i wanted the parcel sent for my attention to Unit 42 not unit 43 (our goods inwards) underlined etc, you can guess where the driver delivered it because it suits him to go to to unit 43 ! This clearly proves that he is simply being awkward and will bend rules when it suits him.

On one occasion that i got to their depot to collect a parcel the tails similar to mine were abundant and one chap was there to collect who had 1 parcel delivered then 5 minutes later a card put through the door (while he was still in the house!) the man on reception at Citylink found this quite funny.
I also have said to companies that i will no longer order from them if they use Citylink.
I have tried to complain by e mail to them but they point you in the direction of your local depot which i know to be a waste of time.

Phew i feel better now !

Ditto for me.

I ask any company that i order from if City Link are used,if so,i don't order from them.

Very bad service on more than one occasion from the Swansea branch.
