O2 changed my contract, your thoughts?

I have sent the following email to O2, what are your thoughts on it please?
I have had a contract with O2 since January 2006, but I am very unhappy about the changes you have made with my account, please will you look into it.
In January 2007, we agreed a 12 month contract for £35 a month and a £15 monthly discount I would get 500 minutes, 100 texts and an extra 400 texts. So to the layman I got 500 minutes and 500 texts for £20.
In January 2008 we agreed to another 12 month contract on the same terms, and the same happened in February 2009.
In December 2009 I was invited by O2 to renew the contract online in the same terms, this I did. You are now saying this agreement ended in February 2010 and I now have to pay £35 for 500 minutes and 100 texts. This is not what we agreed, please investigate this and return my contract to the agreed original terms.

You have 3 years' precedents in your history, so that will be a great bonus in your favour if things get sticky.
I would also ring customer service and get them to look into it and ring you back within 24 hours. You will need to get a contact name and offer to send them a copy of your very clear post on here.
What may have gone wrong is the fact that you renewed/upgraded a month early and they might have set that up as a new contract rather than a continuance/upgrade.
If you get no joy, then you may need to threaten to cancel and go to the regulator. If you do, keep it as short and simple as your post on here. An example of brevity and clarity for others.0 -
The discount is for the length of the minimum contract term, so to continue with the discount you'll need to sign up for another 12/18/24 months - obviously as you've always upgraded you've never realised before.
*edit* Just realised - did you renew in December 09? Do you have all the info from renewing online?0 -
Thanks for the replies, yes, I renewed for 12 months in December 2009 but I don't think I have any paperwork to confirm this.
