How do we prove overnight care?

Poor kids. Would it be worth going via a solicitor to get something put in place?Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0

And how did she know that you were
a. at home?
b. in a fit state to look after the child?
Even if you were in when she rang 5 minutes earlier that's not to say you haven't gone out in the time it takes her to get there. So she could have abandoned the child with no regard to their safety. I'd have called the police.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

I must admit that was one of her worst moments. She drove to the house, saw lights on and car outside, left child on doorstep and rang OH's mobile and told him to look outside. When he opened the door she drove off!! She doesn't like being said No to!!0 -

OMG!! Loobysaver, this is dreadful, how can a PWC leave a child on the doorstep and coldly fone NRP asking him to look outside, I would be questioning this PWC mental stability, how that poor child must of been feeling being placed outside a door, real PWC would NEVER EVER abuse a child in this way or infact any way.
I would be fighting this PWC in the courts to gain full custody, breaks my heart to hear how some treat their children, this is unacceptable behaviour.
Sometimes we just have to accept the meaning of NO and certainly dont use the children to gain what we want.0 -
Be just as difficult and refuse to take them for the 2 nights per week until it is resolved
I really hope the OP doesnt take this advice.
It would be a real shame to miss out seeing ones children and its not really fair for the children to suffer just because the adults have things to sort out. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

And of course, the police were called to report child abandonment and custody of the children was applied for right? If not, sorry, the parent who had the kids dropped off on them unexpectedly is condoning the behaviour.0 -
I doubt the police would take much to do with the matter as the child wasnt really in danger as they were in eye shop of the PWC until the NRP opened the door.
I think rather they would make an urgent referal to Social work. Which could cause more greif for the faimily and sour relations even more.
Yes I see the point of phoning the police but that might enflame the presently difficult circumstances that might otherwise work themselves out. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

Maybe so, maybe not but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Anyway apologies as I have strayed off topic and my original question about proving overnight care.
Getting back to the original thread/comments, any communication with PWC is by text/phone, nothing is in writing or by emal. It was mentioned that texts might not be proof enough though.0 -

So tell her you're confused about what she wants and can she write it down for you so you know you understand - she wouldn't like to find you were out one night when she drops the kids off just because you were confused about which night it would be now would she...Eat food. easy to prove ovenights in theory, but not to the gibbering chimps at the csa.
in my case, even when confonted with absolute concrete proof and a court order, they still took my ex's fairytale as gospel.
one trick is to photograph the child/ren in front of the tv with the EPG in full view. one at night, and one first thing in the morning.
texts and emails are a bit of a sticky point.... hotmail emails will not constitute as proof as any monkey can set one up and send false emails. the same as PAYG texts.
ISP emails and contract texts can easily be used as proof. just accompany the transcripts with copies of the relevant bills.
if they still refuse to accept the proof, then lodge a complaint and perhaps get onto your MP to take up the case.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0
