Was he helping cook lunch Spud? That's lovely. Mine are doing the same and supplying me with cups of tea.

He prefers cheese sauce instead of gravy with a roast, and was making it himself. Clumsy children and kettles of boiling water dont mix but I have to let him do stuff for himself.

    I dunno

He's critisised everything the poor bloke has done, think hes jelous that he can't do it, and i've got someone that was willing to help me bathe safely, (yes i know i'm paying him, but he kept labour costs down)

At least it will get finished even if we have a mess here and the job has overrun a bit, i've been waiting for 4-5 years for the bathroom to be done, plus every room dh has started decorating has never been finished

Ah well you see perfection takes time to achieve.....but so much safer just not to finish and then nobody can judge whether you have truly achieved it!

Sounds painful Spud but we have to let them learn even though we hope it won't turn out quite like that.
I am absolutely shattered - went to church and then back to DD's to eat the leftover food. I could do with forty winks - is it too early for pjs?

If you mean available as married or single, He's Married

It will look lovely when its finished, will make the rest of the house look really shoddy

  • In the end, I couldn't work out what to write, whatever I put sounded patronising or interfering so I just rang their bell, handed them the bill and waited to see what happened. The girl who answered said it wasn't theirs and they called to explain that, so I'll wait and see what happens. If another letter arrives, I'll call the landlord and ask him to sort it.
