  • Surely it would look a bit suspect if both people had filled up their cars, and the attendant was trying to charge you for over 100 litres of fuel? You're not likely to be able to use that much!

    Imagine a very busy forecourt of say 10 pumps, ? A newbie attendant, easy for a petrol thief to disappear, but as in the 1st post the cctv would have caught it.

    Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

    Should have phoned the police & reported it, Another potential scam. Most cards get cloned from dodgy petrol station staff. High staff turnover doesnt help.

    It may have been a mistake (unlikely) but if the police had been notified and the next person did they would soon make the connection.
