Hi, i dont know if anyone else has heard of these but i thought i would post it up so you can see there is an alternative to normal crutches and sticks.
I am nothing to do with the company aside from being a huge fan! and the bags to match where my idea
I was just being selfish as i dont need sticks or crutches but wanted a bag full of gems
This is there facebook page, the person who runs it is lovely (im guessing a woman?)

They need to do a blokey version too - how about a Formula 1 stick in the colours of your favourite team.... or is that just a little sad......In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0

Hey Oscar
It's my site and Katie told me she had written in here so I thought I would take a look. I do actually do GlamSticks for men. I have a Camoflague Stick and a Punk Stick and I also do sticks in football colours! They're on the website if you look
I can basically do anything you want as long as I able to do it so formula one colours wouldn't be a problem

I think they're lovely. I got a multicoloured diamante one, that people stop me all the time to say how lovely it is.
I'm getting a new one for my birthday in July, which is going to be gold with fairies and butterflies on!
Obviously you can go for less...um, girly ones, like in just one single colour. I also love the new range of painted ones, which are great."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
Can I ask how robust they are? I'd love a pair of the multicoloured diamante crutches but I'm quite clumsy and I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that will fall apart after a few weeks.
Thanks!0 -

Hi there
The crutches themselves are Days so a good brand name and robust and i make the decoration as robust as I possibly can. There are also two coats of varnish over the top. Jazzabelle bought her diamante stick last sept/oct and I assume she is still happy with it as she is buying another one from me.
I know they seem like a lot of money but I actually only charge cost price or less to make them. It's a form of therapy for me and not done for profit. An average crutch takes about 4000 5mm rhinestones which on its own is £20 of the cost of the stick! The hours I spend making them I don't really charge for, at the most I may charge about £3. An average crutch takes me about 15 hours to make not including the waiting around time for paint and varnish.
At the end of the day I enjoy making them and I enjoy making a difference to people's lives when they have mobility aids they want to be seen out and about with

Thanks Debbie
It wasn't that I thought they were expensive for what they were cus you can see that a phenomenal amount of work has gone into them, I just needed to know if they were robust cus I didn't want the sparklies to fall off
Right, I'm saving up now lol. A pair of kaleidoscope ones will be mine hehehe. It's a fantastic idea Debbie and good luck with it all - you are right that we just want to have different stuff even although we are disabled

Hi Pinkmouse
Thanks
When you are ready, send me an email before you order and I will give you a discount for ordering a pair
Did you see the Swarovski one I did in memory of my mum (she died just before christmas) it cost me over £200 just to make!! I don't think I will have many commissions for that one
