the service interval is either 10000 miles or one year whichever is sooner...the difference for me is that i am paying for the service for 3 years at todays rate..surely in 2-3 years the charges for labour, oil, parts...etc will go up but i dont have to worry about that. Also Ia m paying it interest free over 31 months instead of big lump sums.

Parents bought a VW golf from a dealer, They were told free MOT's for as long as they own the car, I bet they didnt tell em they owned their last car for 17 years maybe moe?

1st MOT OK, 2nd MOT sorry we cannot do that we are no longer garage X?
Seems they had been taken over by another company or changed names. Same staff etc. but would not honour the free MOT, After hinting its due an expensive service within 6 months they agreed a half price MOT.
When they quoted £900 for the service & cambelt parents took it elsewhere paying half the amount with genuine OEM parts.
