Just come across this http://www.bristolstreet.co.uk/page/service_plan.htm on the Bristol Street website.
Wonder whether to go for it or not £155.88 a year for servicing and MOT doesn't seem too bad a deal, of course need to see the small print.
Any thoughts?

Ah yes, hadn't quite spotted that under the glass of read wine!
Will ask about it and report back, got a nearly 3 year old Focus that's going to start needing MOTs soon and my local Bristol Street dealer (Stroud) are pretty good.0 -
Is the service just a basic oil change? Parts extra?
So your paying £155 a year for an oil change & MOT, Wonder how many items they fail the car on for the MOT?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
they have just sent me a letter for this offer...i bought a toyota verso from them two weeks ago and they are offering me now the 3 years service and MOT plan for a total of £460...sounds very good to be true!!!0

Is the Garage still going to be around in 2/3 years time?
I have just bought a 3 and half year Astra from Arnold Clark, they offering similar for 2 years but only £80 per year. Took them up as their normal service and MOT is from £99. Plus I know they will still be there in 2 years!
Most local garages will offer you a service and MOT for around £90 only real advantage to me is, getting too old to be bothered with doing own services and shopping around for MOTs and it's paid for now0 -

I assume they aren't working to the Vauxhall service schedule for that price?
Year 4 service is a big one if done properly (all filters including cabin filter, spark plugs if it's a petrol, brake fluid - even the cambelt if it's done enough miles) There's more but I can't remember it all.
At least £200 - more including the brake fluid change.
Chances are they'll do the standard "32 point" service on it and that's just an oil change and some checks. How do you know? they have a very bad reputition and i will not be surprised if they go under.

I just bought a 3 years service plan (3 services) for my toyota verso from toyota dealership for £531 which i think is a much better deal than paying £460 to bristol street motors...i know that it does not include MOT but that is not a big issue for me...anothertoyota dealer wanted £700 for the same plan.0

Not sure how good a deal that is - not sure what the serice intervals are, but that sounds about right for three years to me - only difference being that they have your money up front!0
