yes ! - lol
But many of the disabled vehicles have indicators and lights etc .... ;-) (even the non-souped up ones), on that subject - a "shopping basket" on the front might counts as illegal modification ;-)
The law definatley has some annomolies - it will probably take a "test case", or variation to the legislation to more strictly distingish (or confirm) between whats seen as a "toy/recreational vehicle" and whats a classed as a "medical aid" (aka invalid carriage).0 -
I have not seen any invalid 80 year olds on a mini moto

On a more serious note, I think these vehicles are fine and also the petrol versions so long as the appropriate protective gear is worn and an extremely high level of supervision in a suitable environment, I wouldn't dream of purchasing one for my own kids but see the reasoning behind others doing so, I think the big problem with them is their status as the latest chav badge and the added bonus of getting the kids away from the house all day so that some serious weed smoking can be done before corrie starts and the old man gets home from his fiddle! There is only so much time you can expect the ps2 to keep your kids occupied isn't there?Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

I'd steer clear of mini motos (whether battery or not). My 16 year old got 6 points on his license, when he gets one, for riding one of the petrol ones (he was 15 at the time) and had been in a wood. I'd avoid at all cost.If I had known then what I know now . . .
