Thanks Mr Green and Nottoobadyet for keeping the challenge going!

I'm in for 19 home-made lunches in April!

(Thought I was going to struggle today - 1st of the month! Imagine my failure face! :o:mad:- but a tin of sardines saved the day! Toast and sardines in tomato sauce. Tasty! And an orange.)

    Happy bank hol weekend, everyone!

    Hi all,

I'd like to take part in this if I may. Can you sign me up for no more than one bought lunch per week, so that's 4 in the month.

Really need to address this major source of pointless expenditure.

    Cheers xx

Almost forgot my rolls this morning, had to run back to get them and as a result I missed my bus to work and was nearly half an hour late. At least I never spent anything on my lunch tho :)

Yay! Thanks MrGreen for running this wonderful challenge for all us desk-bunnies. I've deliberated and I've cogitated and I'm allowing myself one bought lunch per week in April, giving a hopefully-not-too-challenging-target of 18 'no bought lunch' days. And here I am chalking up my first success with a rather fetching beef and avocado salad, toffee yoghurt and a banana, yumyumyum.

Ohh can I join this, been struggling with how much I spend on lunches each day! Not too sure how to do it but I'll worry about that come Tuesday :rotfl:

Bit confused as to what "no bought lunches" means though... you still surely have to buy something? Sorry, I'm being daft :o
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

The same thing happened to me, I was waiting for the bus and it suddenly dawned on me that I'd left my sandwiches at home, so I went back for them.

Lunch from home first, punctuality second!!

Absolutely! It did help that I knew the boss wasn't going to be in the office today :)
