    hi
We had exactly the same problem with our Bosh I tried all sorts to stop the smell ,I called out an engineer in the end:mad:, he fault tested it and it turned out to be a faulty pump not pumping out the water properly once a new pump was fitted the smell went, I wonder if this is a common fault with the Bosh machines ?
    Hope this helps.
  • we've had this too, although how can you leave a washing machine door open if the machine is integrated like ours is, the whole point of built in is to have machines hidden away & the cupboard door doenst close if the machine door is even slightly open, my machine has gone terribly mouldy inside the rubber as we live in a hard water area.

Hard water doesn't cause mould. More likely you are using too much soap powder and the undissolved part is building up in the seal recesses and going mouldy.
