  • Ooh was so tasty! Am on round 2 tonight. I usually use two packs of mince but only used one last night. Almost half the usual price. ;) OH loved it too - thought I was trying to be all "gourmet"! :p

    xx

Let's hope I'm a master chef too! It's what my son wanted for his coming home meal - seems he'll be easy (read cheap) to please :D. Am so happy he's home, although he's gone out o catch up with mates atm, have missed him dreadfully, although I saw him every couple of weeks nd we spoke a couple of imes each week, its not the same as having him around. And one of my bes friend's has moved back to the area from up north nd going to see her tomorrow. Seems like the winter of my discontent might be coming to an end :j:j:j

    Hi everyone

Almost the weekend! I am being a busy bee in work today in the hope that I don't need to think about what I haven't done/dream about spreadsheets the whole weekend! Woohoo! All finished! Finished what I was working on with about an hour left...couldn't start anything else at that time, could I?!:p

Today I'm being a good DFW by:
    - Charging mobile at work check
    - Signed up for April save on work lunches challenge check. 19 working days in April for me x £2.50 a lunch = £47.50 saved!
    - Pay a big chunk off my cc Ooh that feels good.
    - Check banking to see if all my bills have been paid as they should be All seems ok.
    - Shopping with a list And used vouchers

    Catch up later xx

    Me again!

    Have also:
    - Walked home instead of getting the bus (had bags and was raining too!) so I'll put the £1.20 in the jar along with my other loose change
    - Got parcel redelivered instead of getting the bus to the depot

Ah, that feels better. Just going to get myself a wee glass of vino and then the weekend will really have begun! :j

    xx

    Today I have -

    - Bought some Karrimor walking sandals and a camping kettle for £14.99 and £5.99 from Sports Direct instead of getting ripped off by Millets prices, ready for lots of camping weekends this summer if weather is ok! :D

    - Stocked up on birthday cards with a great offer i saw in Card Factory - 5 x hand crafted cards for £1 :)

    - Phoned up about car insurance renewal as quote i'd had was rather good but one other company was beating the price on comparison sites. They offered to refund me my legal fee (£24.99) if I renewed making them the cheapest and my next years insurance will now be £127 :D:D

    - Put some air into car tyres before drive oop north tomorrow as they were looking rather flat, so hopefully conserve a bit of petrol now.

    - Clicks/scratchies

    Think that's it.

    Hello Linz,

I am intrigued, how have you done so well on the clicks - which ones do you use? I am so interested in starting them but dont know where to start. thanks

    Hi INTM,

Here's the thread I learnt all about daily clicks from -

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2132075

Best thing to do is to read the first post and take it from there. Start off slow, say 2-4 sites and see how you get on. Best ones to get you started are

    Cashbackchief
    Cashbackcascade
    Fatcheese
    Getpoundsback

Each site has a 'recurring earner' / 'daily clicks' section.

Any questions post on the thread ive linked, everyones really helpful. I have loads more still pending that are due to be paid anytime now, so hope my total for 2010 will be near to £300 in a couple of weeks :)

(PS - technical question: anyone know how I quote two people in the same post???)

    Here goes......
oooo someone answer this, have been dying to know!

Click on the 'multi quote' icon in the bottom right corner of the message - it has speech marks and a '+' sign - the little icon should go orangey/red.
Click that icon for each message you want to quote.

Then click on 'reply' and both of your messages to quote from will be there - you can delete any bits of the original messages if you only want to quote sentences.
Hope that made sense - took me ages to work it out a while back:rotfl:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Ahh thats brilliant thank you so much. I am amazed at how well you have done! well done!!! I will have a good look there. I am thinking of all sorts of things to start listing and to try to make some money. Decided to take the plunge and sell the sky box as they failed to contact me (for over a year and a half) only to ask for money when i had cancelled. Anyway i think i am just looking for reassurance!

your signature gave me inspiration!! than k you
