  • The regular saver 10% seems a great rate, however, at the risk of
showing my ignornance of these matters, were I to open an account
and pay in the maximum of 250 pcm, at the end of the year when the
deal gets closed up, would I get 10% on the full 3000 or just 10% on
    the first month's payment, 10 * 11/12 % on the second, 10 * 10/12 %
on the third and so on down to 10 * 1/12 on the last month's money.

I've just signed up... deleted my A&L cookies so fingers crossed it will be tracked!! I really need the 0% overdraft if anything.. I'm assuming the limit will be mentioned in my joining pack?

    Hi,

I want to invest £250 - i have worked out the interest paid at the end of the year to be £195 before tax - does anyone know how much tax i would have to pay ? I am not a high tax payer ie 40%.

I was wondering if anyone would like to refer me to A&L to earn £50 - please PM me - obviously i am going to wait until September to join.

Thanks to the person who recommended Quidco.

    Nice to save.

    £39. (£195*0.20)

Also there is a current maximum balance of £2500 for the Premier Direct account before the rate drops to 0.1%.

This I was not aware of, I don't think it has come up in this thread before. Thanks for pointing it out.

Does anyone know if the post-September account options will still have the 0% interest free overdraft, as this is the most important thing for me.

    Thanks.

Hubby got his pack really quickly (joined online on Saturday, got pack through Tuesday) However, he has recommend a voucher totalling £25, not £50.

I know you can print £50 ones off the website, but will they give you £50 anyway (since they have changed it back to £50!) if you use the £25 ones?
