  • Re saving for emergencies. Mine started before I got that far. TV went last month. I wake up this morning, reach into fridge for milk and suddenly think this carton feels warm, "don't be daft" is 2nd thought, 3rd is "no it IS warm" and fridge smells. So just been to Currys for the cheapest fridge/freezer I could find. BiLs van not big enough for it to go in upright, so delivery tomorrow. At least they dispose of the old one. I had done really well this month as it has been Easter, had not spent a penny for 4 days. Shot to pieces now and food that was in freezer for certain days over the rest of the month needs to be eaten.

I did have a wee emergency fund which is now not there anymore, so saving again. Hope you've had a nice Easter and you did manage to find us here on diaries, so well done!

  • I guess if it remains really quiet we could make a PT 2 and link it again from the old "Starting DMP on Feb 1st" thread. I had booked marked it, so did not loose the link.

Just had a nice (and pretty cheap) night out, as a friend babysat and we wandered round a funfair that's hit town and then shared nachos in a local pub.

Nice, but now I have to knuckle down and write a book review…

(I subscribe to the thread and follow the link in the email, have no idea where we're hidden)

Flipping Eck you guys i thought i'd lost you, haven't had the chance to get on over the weekend. my internetkeeps you playing up and it was my birthday. Yippee!

Hope your al well, i've taken the plunge and ordered my credit file with equifax to see if the last couple of months have had any effect. I also need to ring Barclaycard as i have had zilch correspondance from them apart from my monthly statements.

With regards to you fellow RBS'ers i've got one letter accepting from them but god knows if i'm deliquent or have been defaulted I haven't received anything.

OOooooooooooh i don't know, got another job interview on the 15th though so fingers crossed.
