What are your thoughts on this?

If $ky is worried by the ruling I am more than happy.

Definitely. Having a (more) level playing field can only be good for the consumer.

The UK going Nagravsion 3 doesn't make any sense could you explain it

Some people are currently receiving premium cable TV channels without paying a subscription due to the encryption being hacked. Virgin are changing their encrypton to Nagra 3 and are sending out new viewing cards to all subscribers to prevent unauthorised viewing. Thus, people currently receiving premium content for free will have to start paying for it if they wish to continue to view.

ESPN coverage is actually produced by Sky Sports. http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/broadcasters/multichannel/sky-to-win-contract-for-espn-match-coverage/5002943.article
