Free Gatwick hotel and 8/15 nights parking (refunded after stay)

HELLO..
id be really really grateful if someone could help me please..
Im flying from stansted on Monday 19th April and returning on Wed 28th for one child and an adult.
So id need a room for sunday 18th and parking for the whole time. Ideally the hotel would need to be as close as possible to airport as ill be travelling with a toddler, buggy, suitcase and 2 lots of hand luggage!
This would be a great deal if I could manage to wangle this for free as at the moment Im not sure if i can go as I cant get to the airport and afford parking.
Any help much appreacited.

Just booked the Hilton Gatwick for 1 night room only! Couldn't find it cheaper anywhere as Holiday Extras has 10% off so only paid £100.?? which I think is a good deal for a room for 2 Adults & 2 kids. I rang Hilton before booking to get a quote & the cheapest they could offer was £120/£134........Roll on May!

Hi there, i would completely avoid the HE webiste. What a load of rubbish and as the parking sites are different wouldnt be honouring the claim. So I told them to refund it as the actual hotel was £40 cheaper and i wanted my supposed insurance money back too. After much waffling from herself about not being refundable, I mentioned trading standards and hey presto it was being refunded. Avoid at all costs!

sorry to be dum but can i confirm how this is working?

If i book via HE but the hotel is cheaper on their own website i get a refund? & still get to stay at the hotel?

is there a time limit? as my hol isnt until sept

First of all I'd like to thank TBeckett100 for this thread and the others where this has been mentioned by him/her.

FINALLY I'm in a position to take advantage. We're flying to the US from Heathrow in March for daughters wedding and will be gone around 24 days - still to be finalised but will be booking this weekend. I've searched everywhere for hotel with 24days parking but seems like it's only holiday extras that offer parking for this amount of time. Does anyone else know a site that offers this long parking?

I'm pretty sure this is do-able even though many places that holiday extra offer they tweak it slightly so that the parking is so very slightly different (off site but car returned to airport intead of hoppa to car park seems a favourite). Still can't find any 24 day parking ones though.

Anyone please know of any alternatives for full time or should I just go for 21 days and try to tie it down so exactly the same? There are a few sites that give you the cost of the extra days BUT even though these are less than Holiday Extras I wonder if they'd wriggle out of this because you pay the extra nights parking charge at the end. Anyone know?
