    Yeah i saw some threads on there about but they were fixing it with a firmware download which isn't available in the UK??

    Just had a quick look and it looks like it needs re-setting or re-scanning. Mine is out of warranty so will not have the luxury of an engineer coming out to do it :D so hopefully I can sort it out over the phone.

    It was a bit weird, he was on the Xbox, TV switched off, came back on again, the picture was still there and he just carried on playing. TBH it only happens to ours occasionally, if I were you I would give Samsung a call to see if they can help. Hope you get it sorted out and don't have to buy a new one just yet!

    Didn't see anything about resetting or rescanning though just about a firmware download, going to have to be on the phone early tomorrow! Is a £900 telly supposed to only last 2 and a half years?!!?!

    Remember the sale of goods act, electrical goods are supposed to be fit for purpose for 5-6 years, or thereabouts! Don't know how difficult it will be telling Samsung that though.

    Yeah we just went through something similar with Comet and our computer it was 18 months old. Had a whole huge ordeal with them eventually 4 months later they coughed up!
    Which may help you guys understand why I am so upset about this. Just can't understand why we deserve so much bad luck!?!?
