Boots glitch at last!

The boots ACM machine has been really disappointing recently - I've only had two vouchers and the 1000 point raffle thingy has been out of order.

I had a few things to get anyway so I printed out the 150 points when you spend £25 voucher. Went to the tills and my spend came to more than this. Handed over the voucher and ...

The voucher scanned as Incentive Bond and took £20 of my bill.
Could hardly contain myself but pretended I hadn't noticed. Neither did the cashier thankfully and I skipped out of the shop at top speed! Hopefully it works for some of you. I haven't the nerve to try it again.

Though, what about if you picked up £20 of stuff off the shelves, do boots have any self service tills? I wonder if it would act like a gift card and you'd get it all free!?!? somebody HAS to try that

The point was that it might take boots a bit longer to catch on!:rotfl:

Oh god I don't finish work til 2pm tomorrow and I'm sure the glitch will be well discovered by then!

No offence meant but it may be useful if the people who quoted and highlighted the glitch deleted or edited their posts.

I think it was posted this way for a reason.
