surely them giving a loan over there limit and not even asking for it would come under miselling or unfair lending?
In what way would it be misselling and what exactly is unfair lending?

So what did they say when you obviously must have complained the moment you noticed this mistake? If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0

Ok so i had a flexi hsbc loan at 2500 limit i go into branch asked for 200.00 increase the guy says ok my limit is 2700 he can do that and will put in act, i check bal as also awaiting funds from a tenant and my workplace my mistake i pay around 1k to mort arrears i find out the bank put 2700 in act opening a whole new loan for 2700 i know i spent this but surely them giving a loan over there limit and not even asking for it would come under miselling or unfair lending?
So you were hard up and got an extra £2700 (by accident supposedly), spent the money, and THEN complain!
C'mon......0 -
No i didnt prance around spending the money on shiny things when i didnt get the funds from my tenant and i lost my full time employment and the wife was made redundant i used to keep a roof over our head yes i did spent the money but f theres a change of paying back less interest or anything then id like to know if its even possible, lenders have a code they must follow if there credit check says this person can only be lent 2.7k so they give me 2.7k when i already owe 2.5k you dont think thats irresponsible? That comes under unfair lending as with giving credit to someone without the means to pay ie out of work if you have nothing productive to say post your crap elsewhere. I come here to see if anybody has experienced this or knows more about it, im sure if you saw you could claim back overdraft fees or ppi pmts you wouldnt turn your nose up at it?0

So do we. It's called the English Language, the rest of us learned it from our parents and school.
See those buttons with letters on under your thumbs??? you are supposed to hit them in a specific sequence, not just slap them about (something someone should have done to you).
