Nokia 2760 - cant get voicemail
Hi, I am posting as a last resort before buying a replacement fone.
I am happy with my Nokia 2760 in all respects except for one. I am unable to access my voicemail. Now I am not sure when this happened, or indeed whether I ever was able to access it. The symbol for a voicemail message comes up but when I dial 1 for voicemail I get:
"calls to this number are not being connected"
if I dial 222 to set up the voicemail it tells me that I have already set it up. When I then try to get thro to it i get the same "calls to this number are not being connected"
Can anybody throw any light on this? The only way i get get my messages at present is to put my sim into another phone.
thanks

It's not the phones fault, sounds like you'd be better off asking Virgin why you can't.
EDIT: Try dialling *#67# it should tell you your apparently unique voice mail number.0 -

on the phone it just says "active for voice calls" when I do that.
If it is a Virgin fault surely I wouldnt be able to access my voicemail on another fone, which I am able to do.......:(Ellie
