Of course it makes a difference, he's talking out his !!!!, ....
I didn't say it wouldn't make ANY difference, I said
"Then there won't be much change in the selling price whether you sell it with the HDD or not..... "
...which was following on from the OP's comment that he/she wasn't getting hardly any money for it at the moment anyways..... If the price falls low enough, then you will get to a point where the presence or absence of HDD will make little difference.0 -

You said it's on eBay - look at 'Completed Listings' for similar spec machines, and see how much they actually sold for..... and how many went unsold.0

You don't say what cpu , what type of monitor or what size h/drive -but if it's only got 512mb ram,ddr or ddr2?, it's unlikely to be worth £1000

sorry dont understand what you mean by ddr or ddr2 and what is c pu? the monitor is a wide screen flat 17"
DDR and DDR2 are types of RAM memory installed in slots on the main circuit board, or Motherboard.
CPU is the Central Processing Unit, or Processer, also mounted on the Motherboard (usually Intel, Athlon, etc)
If you don't have details of these in your eBay advert already, may be good policy to add them.0 -
