If your intolerant to Gluten you just have to avoid products with gluten in them.... SO you’re pretty much safe with all fresh fruit, veg & meat products that are not processed...... Doesn't even come close to having cancer....
Basically it comes down to diet... Yes it limits your diet but in theory you should be healthier not eating things like Bread, Cakes, biscuits, beer, crisps etc..... doesn’t stop you having nice healthy home cooked food..
I know a number of people with Celiac disease who live a perfectly happy nornal life without having to get their "gluten free bread" on prescription....
And for your information I am on medication for a rare form of Arthrits which I've had from my mid 20's, I have to take 4 tablets a day, have my blood tested every month, and will probably have to do this for the rest of my life.... so I am benifiting from the free prescriptions but I wouldn't oppose a fee if it help the overall health service..
Well lets just hope you don't have to go through 18 months of endoscopic procedures, biopsies and uncertainty to get diagnosed with a "Mild Food Alleregy".
Hey but maybe I'm just talking "Bo**ocks" again
I hope your sore wrist gets better soon.I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -

I think this speaks more of the incompetance or lack of knowledge of the doctors being seen that it took 18 Months to make a diagnosis. I went through the exact same.... Oh it's just a bad back.... oh it may be a pulled muscle.... oh this... oh that.... oh the other...... It was actually a junior doctor who just happened to be on duty over a Bank Holiday in a local town hospital in England who happened to propose my condition and recommended I go see a specialist in Reading..... She did more in 10 minutes than 5 other doctors had done over the previous 2 years....
I hope your sore wrist gets better soon.
It's fine now thanks!0
