Each time your questionnaires get sent back it can take a while depending on the amount of questionnaires they have at that time so expect to be waiting a little longer I'm afraid.
All the best
Sorry I think we've crossed wires... I've got the clearance, this is now with the financial dept in terms of of the people who pay for the post and has nothing to do with me..
Just seems strange as a post normally gets the green light before they're allowed to advertise it but it sounds like that the position has been put on hold since then...0 -
Oooh. Sounds a bit dodgy if you ask me...0

Ah right I see!! Sorry!
I used to work in HR and this happened a good half a dozen times. Usually down to the initial process not being completed correctly. Unfortnuately I had some people who were successful at intervoews and not able to be put into post for over a year due to funding. Its terrible that they can do it....
Hope they get it sorted soon for you! What a stress.0 -
Oh well, back to the jobseeking for me.. position was cancelled this morning..0

don't i just know it.. they're saying the job was put on hold in dec and they were hoping the it would be sorted by now but obviously not. Just wish they'd have been up front about it from the start0 -
Unfortunatly for you its the impact of the required "effeciency savings". Any job that isn't filled will be gapped if the work can be dumped on someone else or just kicked into the long grass0

I really feel for you OP, I'm in exactly the same position. On THREE separate waiting lists for public sector bodies, awaiting the 'security checks' But the longer it drags on the more I think the jobs will be withdrawn. *sigh* Best of luck in your job hunt.0
