Vodafone upfront payments

Do vodafone allow you to pay money upfront on their contract phones to get monthly payments down/shorter contract? I know T mobile do but has anyone been able to do it with vodafone?? Can't see the option to anywhere on their website.

I think you may need to give them a call to ask or speak to them in store, I just got two new contracts redone, and both I got a cashback offer, which then gets loaded on my 'account' then each month when my bills are due the 'cashback' pays for my bills, so if they can do that I'd imagine you'd be able to preload.
Also if you're being offered x phone at £40 pm for 24 mths, trying changing the option to 18mths, or 12 mths, usually it's a about £5 pm extra for each of the 6 mths options.
