i wok for santander and can confirm it does NOT have a cashcard- but you can go in to a branch with id and withdraw from the counter or action it on line - the pin number is for on line security when you withdraw on line0

Sorry, but you're wrong (and another example of Santander staff who don't often know what they're talking about)
The advisor on the phone confirmed that there is an optional cashcard for the Flexible ISA, but the customer should ask for one to be sent at the time of application. Otherwise you just get an account number and need to transact in a branch with ID or over the phone.
Problem sorted.:T0 -
the reason the account is a market leading rate is that there are no additional faciliuties such as the card , which would cost far more to prioduce than a simple account number - but by all means let us know when you get your card0

If dragonbear works for Santander then they need to learn some product knowledge!!!!!! As i said ALL ISA apart from FRPISA have a cashcard. This is ordered during the account opening process or ordered later, all done through the blue headed Sales Portal, hows that for knowledge!?0

thanks .........but if you work for santander via and alliance and leicester branch you do cannot open accounts via partenon, so cannot order a card for the account- so any customer opening a flexible isa cannot get a card with they open the account with A AND L
when a and l fully join santander at the the end of the year then this will be able to happen
looking forward to joining you as a colleague!;)0 -

Exactly Masonic, the due process is not complete so shouting your mouth of about stuff is not very clever, not to mention confusing others!0

When I applied for the Santander Flexible ISA on the phone on Saturday, the lady gave me two options: I could have a separate cashcard for the ISA or I could link it to my existing Santander current account debit card. I chose to link it to my existing debit card.0

Since it pays a market leading rate for 1 year I'd have thought they'd be glad to give out cash cards, let everyone withdraw all their money and not earn 3.5% on it.If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0
