The only thing I would mention is that you still have a deficit on your SOA with your present figures!

rather than buying the everyday things a normal person would be doing, Ive pretty much gambled every penny away, at the beginning of the thread

    - I havent been going out
    - I havent been socialising at all
    - Ive split up with my girlfriend
    - I havent really been buying any new food, living off existing stocks

yeah, which is why the feelign of hopelessness has been closing in

you are doing ok you are facing your problems and no one is here to judge at all, just try to help and please ask as many questions as you need to - I'm still really new here but there are some great people here that can advise.

    thanks guys and gals!

I basically just need to know what steps do i take forward now, after having no response at all from ym IVA (it seems like they really dont care at all - but why should they I suppose) Ive wrote to them today to find out whats going on (as the phone is getting me nowhere)

Looking at my finances, I think bankruptcy is the safest bet, I took the IVA out from a moral point of view because with Having zero assets, its viable... Im getting help with the gambling now and the doctor has put me back on medication for my depression today, I feel such a failure for havign to do it but well... ya know!

I just need to know what steps i take now, I know the costs are going up next week, as long as i keep myself clean from gambling and call in a favour from work it should be ok, hopefully, I just thought I knew this whole thing inside out but it turns out I dont really know anything at all!

If you look at the advice given both by sizzler and myself in regards to your SOA, I would say it looks OK. As far as your IVA is concerned you will need a certificate of failure from your IVA company, and as you have missed (or will be ) 3 payments then you should be able to get one.

Any more questions, just ask away, there is usually someone around to help or advise.

    Hi ya,

Welcome to the board. As Sizzler & Dojoman have already said you are still showing a deficit, I had a quick add up & if you make the above changes your outgoings will come in at £1047 leaving you with a £3 surplus.

You can only put in for holiday & things if you have the income in the first instance, but without the sky you are just about breaking even.

Hope everything works out for you & wish you all the best.
