Switching from iPhone contracts on O2

Does anybody know if it is possible to switch from an iPhone contract to a Blackberry one under O2? I currently have an 18month O2 contract with bolts ons, insurance, etc costing £60 pm and I am roughly 12 months in. Obviously this is a very high cost and I am looking to reduce this substantially if possible by switching back to my blackberry. However, I don't want to be left in the lurch with an iPhone contract and then needing the BB service. Plan was to sell the iPhone also as I'm in my final year of uni saving for a deposit on a flat in central london. Any help wold be appreciated.

Sometimes when you've served 12months of your contract you can reduce your tariff. I did on Orange after about 12 months.
So I'd suggest, keep your sim, phone up o2 and see if they'll reduce your monthly payment amount. Then you could use your sim in the Blackberry and sell the iPhone on.
Hope this helps.Crunching Deals since 19850
