Lost IPhone
Options
I have just tried to make a claim for my LOST iPhone.
My insurance company had the claim for 3 months and nothing was done.
I chased it up today and was told it was on hold pending a lost property number and I was to contact my local Police to report.
Contacted the Police to report the phone LOST and was told that due to the amount of phones lost they no longer deal with it and havent since April 2007.
I went back to my insurance company and told them this and was told that my claim would not progress without a Police Incident No.
Phoned the Police back and insisted I had a log raised but they refused.
any ideas?

Are you serious??? Do you not think your member of parliament and the police have slightly more important things to attend to? :huh:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
I suppose it depends on whether the phone is lost or stolen
I would be concerned if the police are choosing to ignore the latter - presumably to improve their clear up figures
The insurance should pay out provided the network have locked the phoneTANSTAAFL !0
