Drayton Manor theme park is just outside Tamworth (not a far drive from Wolvrhampton). Cannock Chase have a 'Go Ape' centre which looks great. Merry Hill shopping centre is pretty good for shopping (I prefer it to The Bull ring in Brum) and there is Telford Shopping centre too.
If you are in the Premier Inn Wolverhampton, Mosely Old Hall (you could literally throw a stone to it) is a must- lovely National Trust property.0
